I found another 77 century in below fair shape with t-tops. Would be easier to pull the frames and put them in my car or to have the whole roof cut off and welded on mine? What would I expect to pay for either route?

I would cut the whole roof off of the donor car,to make sure you have everything. Then only use what you need, and cut as little as possible on your car. I did this a lot with Foxbody Mustangs innthe 90’s and early 2000’s. They stopped making them in 88,and I grafted them into some 89-93’s,and even some notchbacks. Those cars were sent to a separate company to get those conversions when new. At first,I just had to study exactly what they did.

I saw this process performed on a '77(?) Firebird to install the correct T-roof glass. They marked and cut the roof off the donor car & the receiving car & welded on the donor roof. fit like a glove.

My suggestion is short/long cut, we do it all the time in The Collision field. You want to overlap at least 4in preferably 6in on the front post. And on the rear sail it's the same process, you cut the structure above the skin cut.

You can also sleeve the front post, it makes for less bodywork, but takes more time to prep doing the sleeve and what not

What is the ballpark pricing you all charge to do this?
