    I do too.
If I keep collecting them, one day I’ll have enough to assemble a whole car.

Hahaha.....well if it's new it's generally got a home already for it. If it's used, it also has a home ready for it.....in one of my bonus rooms in my basement. The Mach 1 and F100 go through a LOT of tires :D

This is for the F100. The fuel system will be here next week, was hoping to put it on today but no go. If I didn't get a kick back from Fitech for racing the F100, this system would cost more than I paid for the entire truck....I've been building it on "sponsorships" and one day I'll make a post about how to go about getting them for your projects. Between my aluminum cylinder heads, wheels, custom suspension (shocks, sway bars, panhard, rods, lowering stuff, etc.), this fuel injection and a few other things, the companies that make the stuff have probably given and saved me 3k-4k in parts.......all on a $1500 beater that I autocross pretty effectively and can take out BMWs, C5 Vettes, 5.0 Mustangs, etc......
(These pics were from before the good suspension, so she's leaning pretty hard hahaha. Corners flat as a pancake now)

I forgot to respond on your text yesterday.
It's an easy install. Just make sure your kill switch is on before trying to start it up for the first time and wondering why it won't start...yeah that happened to me oh man.

One hint I'll give you: they want to see race results. If you race in sanctioned events and can show them as much, that's the biggest thing....the fact that it's a truck and I road race it against sports cars makes it a cool novelty for them. The other thing that helps is it's a good test bed for their parts. It gets driven every single day from -20 to 100+ degrees, from sea level to 8000 feet, tows trailers, drag races, autocrosses, road trips, and functions as a truck. Companies really like things that are different and helping out grass roots racing guys. If you've got both those things going, they're generally super happy and more than willing to help out. But you have to keep them posted on your race results, too. Which is just a few emails to them after a race weekend....once I get going on race season this spring I'll make a full post about it.

FINALLY!!!! Crap, been waiting for my fuel system for 3 months now, finally showed up yesterday. If I don't go snowmobiling this weekend hopefully the beater will be carb-less.

Hahahaha....yeah, I'm not a tech guy either. This is about as plug and play as it gets, most guys can get it up and going from the word go in about 3-4 hours, and it self learns after putting in some parameters like cubic inches, how wild your cam is, etc. I'll keep everybody posted, but guys like Joe and Shawn have run them with great luck.

I've got a lot of room on the firewall and some down where the charcoal canister used to be. I'll take pics when I get to the mock up stage, but I'm debating on showing it off or hiding it all.

Decided against the in-tank unit, huh?

I didn't want an in-tank for a few reasons, some of which might seem kind of dumb to some guys, but a few of them are: I do want the ability to switch back to a carb for my own purposes, and once I get the EFI installed with all the wiring and routing, switching it between carb and EFI will take under 20 minutes (same as a carb swap). FiTech also "sponsored" me for the whole EFI set-up at an unbelievable deal, and they don't make an F100-F350 specific tank/pump combo yet. During my correspondence with them for getting this together, they told me to send them a "wish list" of what I wanted and they'd see what they could do. I told them what I was going to buy if it was my dime, and then told them what I'd want for my dream set-up if I could just go for it and not pay for anything. They then hooked me up with what I got, and since they're paying for a lot of it, I wasn't going to argue. I like the idea of the Command Center 2, and if something goes wrong with it, it'll be easy to access instead of pulling the fuel tank. I also don't have to redo my whole fuel system since everything that's there is new already and getting reused, and I only need to run one fuel line to the Command Center from my current mechanical fuel pump that's on the engine, then a line from the Command Center to the throttle body, so it's about 5 feet of line total. No return line, no high pressure line all the way back to the tank. This truck gets DRIVEN, hard, often, and a LOT. Simplicity, ease of maintenance, performance, and road side fixability are keys to what I look for on everything I do to the truck....It doesn't get treated like a typical classic car or truck, it's my everyday vehicle and also my main race car. If I had to make a run to Seattle or Denver and back tomorrow, which is about 20 hours round trip, I'd hop in the F100 and go.

That's really cool. Sounds perfect for what you got going on. I thought about going with the command center for that exact reason and the in-tank install was a PITA. It took me about 3 days...but I work slow...do one thing, sip my beer, stare at what I did for 20 minutes, do another thing, sip my beer, stare for another 20 minutes, repeat... Lol!
