If you have the coin, I say run a hydraulic roller cam. Otherwise, you have all the info from the beginning of this thread. Plenty of good cam choices. The 413 may be a bit too much for you. It's a subjective thing though.
With you having a manual you are at a big Advantage so you have a lot more choices to go for so it's up to your brakes and tolerance.
Since I plan on driving this car a lot, im thinking of going with the TA 284/94h or the 288/94h. On the crossmember, it had already been painted and ready to go, but I may still mock it up and see how much change that I would have to make. I really loved my headers, had them for a long time, and there already coated. I had ran them before but with a th400.
I just installed the Kenne Bell mk 3h I forget what specs are already but sounds agressive for sure have not ran it through the gears hard yet
Or you can get a custom ground cam, not much more. https://www.buyracingparts.com/blog/tag/scott-brown-cam/
Gotta get Scott to call you back tho,...I'm on 3 weeks now ha If he doesn't know you I don't think he cares too,..or at least it seems that way
I called him and left a message and got an email back within 2 hours, keep in mind he's never heard my name before. Maybe luck of the draw. Give it another shot Ethan
I've called and left over 20 messages and sent 10 or more emails the past 3 times I've tried to get a cam
Ethan you might call bobb at finishline, him and Scott work well together, when they did my cam took less than a week from start to part in hand......
I would call Jim Weise at Trishield Performance. He has built more Buick motors than most anyone. Or PM him.
Larry can you please post the link as to what cam the 113 you are referring to? Judging by the description you gave that's the type of cam I would like for my build.
