I'm in the process of restoring the dashboard and I'm looking for some small parts Radio bezel with nice chrome headlight switch escutcheon cigarette lighter escutcheon AM Radio with knobs Please let me know what you have, and a price.
Go ahead and get them from ranger, not sure if the radio I have works, not tested, the bezel is black and only driver quality, other parts are nice, thanks Bill.
Hi Paul,If all fails,I have some of the parts, don't think I have a nice radio bezel,I would have to make sure, but I have all the other parts.I have a AM radio, let me check and see if it has the Buick written on it. Bruno.
Paul - the radio bezel is available as a repro and is very nice. Parts Place: https://www.thepartsplaceinc.com/pr...bezel-does-not-come-with-the-wood-grain/44755 I put the woodgrain over top of the chrome and it is good. I did paint the edges black so the chrome can't be seen under the overlay.
Awesome! Let me know what you're looking to get for each and pictures if possible. I'm going to convert the radio to an MP3 input so i might still be interested. Thanks Bill. I saw the PP part and might go that route, but I'm still hoping for a good factory part.
I an thinking the radio I have is either a 71 o2 because it does not have BUICI on the push buttons. The knobs are nice and it has a fader, the lighter and headlight bezel are mice. Le me know if you want pictures.
I have had no luck locating the bezels, but will keep trying. I have two radio bezels. One is black (painted) and the other one the chrome is only driver-quality. I think the repo will be your best bet. I did find an AM Sonomatic radio with BUICK on the push buttons. Not sure what car it came from, tho, and don't know if it works. Lemme know if you need measurements or pics.
I believe this is correct for Wag/Sky/Spl/GS AM radios: 1970 AM radios did not have letters on the push buttons -look for Delco 04APB1 on the sticker on the body. They said Sonomatic on the face. Buttons on the 68/69 did say BUICK, earlier ones were chrome. Later were black (71-73) also. Paul- if you are going to convert then look for one with a nice face. Doesn't have to work!
Good morning, GS44667 do you have a rochester style cigarette lighter receptacle in one of those boxes. (Need part for a 1965 Skylark) I was about to purchase a new one from AMES perf, but will buy a used one if you have it. I have a good lighter just need dash receptacle. Thanks, Robert
Hugger,if you need a nice turn signal lever,I do have them,in case the other guy does not have it.Bruno.
