I am looking for several sets of the correct lug nuts for the 69-72 GS cars. Anybody have any they would sell? Is there a vendor that carries them or where can they be purchased?

I believe CARS sells very nice repros. I think that's where I got mine. Could have been Fusick, wait for others answers. But the repro's are really nice (read expensive)!

    Mike,
I helped Glenn (Cars) reproduce them. I gave him an original to copy. I originally came out with them, and they were exact, but could not keep up with demand so passed the baton to Glenn. His are very very close to the originals and I believe are solid stainless. I know they were the 70-72 style, but I have heard conflicting stories about their correctness for the 69 model year.

Maybe someone else can chime in.

Cars has the solid stainless ones made offshore as I recall . I was thinking the parts place now has the capped stainless ones but have not seen any in person yet. I believe the round acorn type are correct for 68, 69, 70 as I used to sell a USA made solid stainless set at the nationals back in the 80's. My manufacturing source is no longer in business.

Inline tube list a chrome plated steel like originals I N L 13380 1964-1977 .I would contact them about specs on these as the 1965-68 cars used a 13/16 hex size and the 1969-74 used a 3/4 hex size!, these are prior to the stainless capped style which I believe there are three different versions of! The later having superseded part#'s! Parts Place also shows a listing for the chrome plated ones at a higher price! I would also contact them on the specs for these! Both companies list them on EBay also!
If inline tube has the correct ones maybe a group purchase or maybe they will give you a break for multiple sets!?

Do you need them with the original finish? I’ve been using a bunch of them to cover studs when blasting axles.

Anybody purchased any of these, and can verify quality, in looking at them on e-bay it appears they have the size stamped on the side, thanks Bill.

I need a full set of solid ones too, but I am not sure of thread size. Not interested in capped ones. I'd be willing to get a used set and polish them up if they are not too wasted. $200 for a new set? Yeah...., no.
