Any if you guys running front coilovers on your 70-72 Skylark GS? What spring rates are you running, and what do you have for weight? 350,455? All iron? Aluminum heads? Loaded or stripped-down. Mine is a non-AC Aluminum-headed BBB,steel bumper, steel fenders, manual steering, and will likely have a bolt-on glass hood.
I run 350lb springs on one of my other cars, but it’s lighter in the front.

450 lbs Vikings up front, is what BMR Suspension recommend.....steel hood with out reinforcement, glass bumper, homemade core support, aluminum heads, AC, PS, manual brakes.

Had 350lb 10" springs with the stock block 505.

Now 325 12" springs with the Tomahawk motor

i run a pair of moroso front trick spring. will have to look for art number i dont remember it. set real nice with my south side bars and moroso rear springs.

once i put the alf wiebe setup on the rear i had to cut 3/4 of a coil to make it sit level due to rear sitting lower

I have trick front springs in one of my other cars, but also converting that to coilovers. I don’t run rear trick springs in anything. They are designed to squat, and I run lift style suspensions.

I took a peek under the car and I could not see any numbers on the springs, I know they are there, but my racks are full of other cars now..........but I did find a great big puddle of tranny fluid that wasn't there b4, have to see what that is all about.o_O

I run a combo similar to yours and was recommended a 10” 400 spring by Santhuff Suspension.
