Im not an expert, but to my knowledge Console equipped cars had no pattern on a black ball, non console cars had a pattern on a black ball. I have a white patterned ball in mine just because I like the looks better, but that a personal preference thing. Correct would be black (pretty much nothing is factory correct on my car anyway though)
Hi Dan! The black one will be easier to find if you drop it in the snow between your lodge and your shop!! Hope you’re warm and dry. Patrick
Getting 10-12”? Black balls? There’s a joke in there somewhere. Maybe the Weather Channel will name this storm Ben Dover! Patrick By the way, here’s a glimpse of Georgia today...
You laugh, but I had a teacher in high school....Benjamin Dover. We always joked his wife was Eileen, kid named Stan, and the dog was Rover....
Occasionally our school had a substitute teacher named Richard Head and he said ‘call me Dick!’ Patrick
Well, as long as we are talking about school teachers, I have an incident I remember because I still laugh about it today. I had gotten out early from my high school gym class, and was waiting outside the room for my next class. I was waiting along with the class clown (every class has one) Unbeknown to us, the regular teacher was sick and we were going to have a substitute teacher. We also didn't know that she was standing down the hall from us. We had no clue she was even a teacher because she looked like she was 14. At some point, she walked up to the two of us and asked my friend (clown), "Do you know when the period ends?". The clown turns to her and says loudly, "when the bleeding stops". She turned brick red, shook her head, and walked away. That was one awkward class, it was hard to keep from laughing.
There was teacher called Dick Cox in my high school. Since he was over 6 feet and a rugby union forward, no one made fun of the name. In another life, when I was in purchasing, I had a supplier called Stan Clear. No BS. And a good mate called Wayne Kerr. Say that one in the Aussie or British context. I never made the connection while we were in school. And a workshop foreman named Neville Greville.
Went to school with a dirtbag named Mike Ream, and we had a science teacher in junior high named Dick Johnson. When I was in my early 20s there was a politician running for county office named Ben Dover. I stole one of his campaign signs.....
Thirty years ago I worked with a subcontractor named Shelton Gay. Back before restaurants had those electronic buzzer things to call you when your table was ready. He loved to take us to lunch and give the hostess his name. if it worked out right, when our table was ready she would call "Gay party of four".
I saw a Major Payne and a Captain Duck in the Army once, and back in the 60's there was a TV anouncer for the KC Blues hockey named Harry Dick..........
