Picked this one yesterday. She''ll be donating parts to my Skylark. Its almost a shame she sat for about 6 years before I got her about 15 miles from my house. She made it home under her own power.. little ol 300 sounds and runs real good (Small exhaust). drives great also..
Good score, I saw that and sent a link to somebody who lives up there who was looking for parts and then it disappeared. I knew it wasn't going to last long. Hell the wheel opening trim and dash pad are worth the asking price
Dave sent me a link THANKS DAVE. I gave the asking price. With prices around here you even look a g-body for that..
I did the special into town today.. Sure drove differently than the Skylark. Rubber bushings are so much quieter than the neoprene ones. And then the steering box WoW. I got a 3-turn gearbox from a 77ish a-body my have to swap.
I'm curious . the ad said 75% complete but I couldnt tell what if anything was missing from the car. was anything missing?
Passenger floor needs help.. Plywood under carpet. Lights all seam to work.. just clean the contacts so far .. no horn or cigar lighter. Swapped fans from the 400 didn't like wiggle in the clutch.. find more stuff as time goes.
Only thing I find missing at this point of time. I mean not there.,,,,, is the wiper fluid tank, factory cigar lighter has lighter,, trunk torsion bars,, belt for the AC,,, factory battery tie down.. PO got it from the original owners 15 years ago.. at 75000 now 125,000
FWIW. I have tinkered with Donna a bit.. Swapped out the plugs cap rotor... swapped out the pertronix. for a set of points.. Doubled my MPGs From 8mpg to 16mpg... At this point of time I'll be changing her name to Patty Patina. But at the same time I hate this car.. Pull into a gas station grocery store what ever.. More people are owing & awing this car more than 67 Skylark. seams like I cant leave..
