Saw this superb 65 Riviera 2 week ago at the Quebec City ISCA car show It was paint with a Cadillac color - Samoan Bronze - making it the one and only in this configuration.
There is also another Buick , a 71 stage one GSX The show (Salon Auto Sport Quebec) celebrate is 50th anniversary this year and is now th largest indoor car show in Canada , only the show in Calgary,Alberta is older (51) We can see the Mike Trom's window sticker on the last pic !
The Riv was on display at the host hotel for the Buick Nationals a couple of years ago. Saw it in person and it is stunning !!!
Gorgeous Riv GS... ...but you know they're there, it's an "A9"... ...noticed both cars have window sticker on rt side, is that a Canadian thing...
I've thought the same thing. Unless you're a Buick guy or gal, you'd have no idea there's something cool like two 4s under that giant air cleaner. Shame they didn't do something cooler to really show it off.
IMO the '63-'65 Riviera was one of the most beautiful post WW2 automobiles ever produced. The one in the OP is gorgeous.
I've seen this car in person on a couple of occasions and..... DROP DEAD GORGEOUS is how I describe it. The best there is anywhere IMHO.
...my Riv GS bias is showing...I'm glad he did...rather than just those with first-hand experience, many can see what Buick created...
