Figured I’d post our other car here too, just for the sake of possibly bringing back some old memories of cars past.

This one is for our kid. Sort of a work in progress but it really doesn’t need anything body/mechanically.

32,xxx original miles/all build sheets/everything original except hood scoops & wheels. I wish my car was half this original/solid... lol. Had to take a pic when I took it out last night to run some errands.

Haha- thanks. I know, first car we look at for him was this one. I think we ruined him... now he thinks every old car you find for $5k is completely original, #’s matching, no rust,... lol. I told him we could buy it, have his buddy work on it with us then sell it so he could get the old mustang he always wanted. Now he’s in love with it and looks like it’s his forever. Funny story- he found out before we bought it that it was his old high school teacher’s car (who unfortunately passed away). Pretty ironic.

Yep- just the basic slant right now. I have a 318 sitting on a stand for it but he has no interest (and his mom is rather grateful he is driving around with less HP lol). We have all the parts to swap it to the “Super Six” and that’s all he really cares about. Have all the linkage, intake, new Holley 2BBL we found on eBay. After that will be headers and nice dual exhaust.

We’re just glad he has more interest over this than his PS4 like most of his friends!

Thx- I’ll dig up a pic of the day we found it. Car was in same condition body-wise... but the car was sitting on original rear leafs that were so shot they practically had a reverse curve to them in the rear!

I really liked the Scamps, with they'd released them a couple years earlier with the 340.
