PS, PDB, AC, Console AT, no tach, a clock, matching number trans but not engine# , hotchkis stuff on the rear suspension, drag raced at some time or another with the battery in the trunk but I had it put back into the engine bay, what's not to like? Only thing wrong with it now is a stuck carb float so it sits around and I either fix that or sell it to someone who does. I don't think that anyone in my family would care to have it, so I will let it go. New paint and vinyl top and garaged ever since. A real Stage1 by the numbers, I have the historical society documents. sounds close to what you are looking for. 1970 GS Stg1.jpg 1970 Stage1 Ad.jpg

That's a hard decision that I'd prefer to discuss with Danny This car has an interesting history too. I bought it on ebay probably 15 years ago when I still worked in China from a collector in Japan. I didn't expect to win it but I did, so I had to reimport it back to the USA. That was a challenge in itself. I had it shipped to Kansas to Mike Garrisson, who is pretty well known on the board. He kept it stored for me for a couple years and it was one of his first projects when he opened his own shop. Went through it bumper to bumper, pretty much. And delivered it to me in Mississippi in 2008. Been garaged ever since. To be honest, it's too fast for me anymore. The reason the carb float is stuck is because I don't use it enough. I got the awesome correct dated steel wheels, trim rings and dog dish caps from cjp69 (Chris). Even though I don't think you could get them on a Stage1, I like the grocery getter understated look. As well as the old school yellow bright lights fog lamps. Cosmetics are a matter of taste but that is what I did. Engine bay looks all correct for a Stage1 albeit a bit dusty.

Nicest set I have ever seen, they were two weeks old when removed from my friend's dad's new car, and stored until I got them for Mike.

Sorry to get off topic, but Chris, the chrome rings and caps are still like new. Probably less than 500 miles on them in ten years and garage kept. The five steel wheels were repainted by Mike Garrison, and are perfect. I am forever in your debt for selling them to me, and at a very, very reasonable price. Thank you.

Thanks Alain, the car you have for sale has all the right options in my opinion. I was determined to have a blue car with white interior like my first car and I finally found one. It is a bonus that it is a Stage 1 and numbers matching.
