It finally stopped raining.

 

I was finally able to make it to a local cruise night last night.

Always use genuine GM parts.

 

Finally had a chance to install the NOS lid I won on eBay in February, as well as the correct pinch clamps.

I was even lucky enough to salvage a gasket from another setup I had in the stash. These are always toast.

 

This is the first I've heard of it.

Weather permitting, it's very possible. Do you have a link to it?

 

Think the warranty is still valid?

 

I've learned the hard (and expensive) way it helps to have extra stuff. You just never know...

That said, I'd try reaching out to Frank McIntyre - BIGFRANKJOHNSON here on the board and see if he has any left from his last run.

 

Shocker!!

 

Cleaned up, painted and installed the correct manual brake car dipstick.

 

Blasted and painted the power steering bracket, which was a victim of a previous black spray bomb of the entire engine bay at one point.

Also added a correct alternator adjustment bolt.
