    Hello all,

I’m after a NOS grille to suit a 1973 Electra or Estate Wagon. If you have one, please drop me a line.

    Group 1.266, Part 1240217.

    Cheers,

    Glen

No, Electra and Estate had the same grille. LeSabre and Centurion had a different grille.

Have a few pieces of brightwork from a '73 Electra, as well as a lower grille. Good used condition, from El Paso Texas U Pull it yard.

    Hi mate,

Thanks for your message and photos!

Would you happen to have a decent hood emblem on that 1973 Electra? The hood is up so I can't see the front of it.

    Cheers.

    Glen

Can dig out everything I have, from that car (now long gone) and re-photograph. No there was no hood emblem, stuff like that is one of the first things trinket hunters take at the self serve yards.

Check to see if you part number should end with 8 as opposed to a 7. 6787CD65-1C20-4FD0-A52B-497EAD321732.jpeg

No that’s the part number for lower grille. I have one of those NOS in the box. It’s the upper grille I need. Thanks for checking though!!

Did you have a Buick dealership run the part number?

No I got it off the grille I have!

When I say run the part number, I am referring to their ability to electronically check all dealer inventory nationwide for old parts like this.

No... didn’t know you could do that... but this is for a 1973 Buick... would any dealers still have this in inventory? Excuse my ignorance on this.

It is possible that an old dealership may have one. You can also run a separate check for Canada but you need to go through their system.

If that fails retain David Walker, the Buick Parts Man, on this Board.
