Hello all. I'm a few weeks behind on this......oh well. Names Cozad and I am stuck in the middle of Indiana. Currently in the process of restoring a 69 Wildcat Custom to its former glory......kinda. The plan is to keep it original looking with modern upgrades ( EFI, air ride suspension, key fob stuff, etc...). I've already put up a few pictures of the build in the garage section. Any ideas and feedback are always welcomed. Thanks!

Welcome to the site! Phenomenal amounts of info here and people always willing to help with that big bad cruiser.

Take it from an overtaxed Illinoisan...being “stuck” in Indiana is just fine. I’ll be there myself soon as kids are done with school

    Here's my ideas,
Kill the tramp stamp in the back.
Put some Buick road wheels on it, someone please post a picture of them, or some old American racing wheels, or cragers.
Nice tires with some print on them.
If that's red on the side trim I would put a red cap on your wheels or red print on your tire inside the letters
Tint the window as black as you can.

Get some exhaust like flowmasters or borlas or I bet there's 5 better companies.

Work on making your engine as strong as you could.

    In no particular order.

What are his donor cars for upgraded brakes, suspension, etc.

You should put your head rest back up. Dont want whiplash

No donor cars, unfortunately. Currie 9 inch is the to-do list. I have the scarebird disk brackets for the front, but that's only a temporary thing. Ive heard that you can put Mustang II spindles on and that will get you onto the nicer wilwood calipers for the front. If not there is a place around here that I've been conversating with about some custom spindles. And the headrests have been lost to time. They were all torn and nasty. I had every intention to put them back in if I can find them that is. The stock 430 has been rebuilt. If memory serves me correct it had to be punched up in displacement. I wanna say it's a 468 or something now? I cant remember. TA performance Stage 2 SE heads and intake are also on the soon to purchase list as well as a serpentine belt combo. The company there is CVF and it has all the bells and whistles that ill need.

I love your enthusiasm, but I would be careful how much coin you spend on a 4 dr. Might make it difficult to sell if something else catches your eye.
