So I downloaded the Uconnect app on my phone for the Challenger. Besides telling me everything from how much fuel is in it, tire pressures, oil life, recalls and maintenance info, I can remotely lock and unlock the car and set off the alarm. Pretty cool. There's also another tab that will pinpoint the location of my car via GPS. That's really cool!

Might not be a big deal for some of you, but up until 4 months ago, my personal vehicle was a rusty 70 GS!

It is cool. I had it on my Power Wagon. Till they wanted $280 to renew the policy.

I was talking to a Chrysler rep at Mecum Harrisburg a couple weeks back. He said the car has a trasponder in it that records every piece of data. Top speed, quarter mile times, everything. Scary. Every month my car calls the mother ship and Chrysler sends me an email report

Big brother is watching YOU. Guess what the 1st thing is that someone will go after if you have an accident. See he was a hot rodder. Scary what Big Brother will know.

Yep, I had uconnect on my truck till the trial ran out. It was neat and had it's uses, but nothing I couldn't live without so I didn't renew. We were sitting on the couch watching a movie one evening when the wife's car emailed her to tell her she had a tire low on air pressure. That was a bit of a shock.

We got a similar warning from my moms 88 Olds Cutlass one evening Shawn,..we were watching Home Improvement when we heard an explosion in the garage,...yep that tire was definitely flat no doubt about it

It is neat but we didn’t renew ours either. I think you can delete past driving habits/accomplishments too.

I Don't know, maybe 20+ years as a "tech" working in a dealership on new junk kinda jaded me, but I'd rather have the "rusty '70 GS"

Im holding steady at 5 Buicks Ronnie. The 2 Rivieras and the three GS's. I really should wittle down the collection to 2 or 3. It's harder and harder to maintain them all. The black 71 came out like once this year. Too many cars, never enough time.

Wow really, now I feel bad for giving you jazz about the whole dodge thing. So I'm guessing your Gs's are 70-72 cars right? How about the Riviera's?

I just get in my Hellcat and drive it. Never even bothered to figure that out? They finally turned off my Serius radio after three years. Pretty funny. I guess it couldn’t get the signal to turn it off in my garage under the house. Finally caught up with me. Bummer. I will miss it but don’t drive it enough to pay for it.

Usually if you don't renew your Sirius satellite radio they keep sending you cheaper & cheaper offers until you can get it for five bucks a month.

Theyre all in my signature. 68 Rivera GS, 69 Riviera GS, 70 GS-455, 70 GS Stage 1, 71 GS-455. And literally a ton of rare, NOS and used 70-72 GS parts. Ive owned a GS in one form or another since I was 16 years old. So basically my entire adult life. When I was younger, I had so many cars, I would forget how many I had and where they were! I might have slowed down a little since those days:D, but I'll never stop!

I actually ran one quarter mile in it:p. Granny shifted it to a 14.2 at 106:rolleyes:. First pass with Jen giving the seat the death grip:D. Made the mistake of shifting it into 5th so the rpm dropped off. Still getting used to that internal rail short throw shifter.

It saves all the 1/4 mile and performance info in the app om the dash

Its like those things the Insurance company's want you to plug into your ALDL . All so they can " See" what your doing and then offer you a pittance of a rebate . I'm sure thats the first thing they pull up when there is a claim ,

The worst commercial is the one for Allstate with the guy sitting on the center line of the street . He says how it tells you when you go too fast and " BRAKE TOO HARD " . I can't figure out how you can Brake Too Hard . If your trying to avoid a accident like a child runs out into the street or a car runs a stop sign or red light ; THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS BRAKING TOO HARD !!
