Thanks so much for your kind comments :)

It is a bit strange to start with but you get used to it. It's just barriers and drive thru that's the problem but the bench seat helps!

I will soon be starting a YouTube channel to document the progress, so I will post the link when it is live.

Yes...do videos. I probably know all classic buick related videos on youtube.

When my car is driveable again I'm going to do onboard videos with a gopro (at least thats the plan

Love it. Wish I had the patience to give my Riv the spa treatment that yours gets!

Thanks guys, I have been recording some videos. Once I have had a chance to do some editing then I'll upload them and let you know.

I was fitting some weather strip to the trunk today from Steele Rubber. I put it in following the instructions but the trunk would not close. I pulled it out and fitted it differently, which seemed to fit better (basically just rotated it around a bit more.) It also seemed to sit flatter. I have put it in without adhesive and the trunk did close but barely. It is clearly under strain. I am going to keep it shut for a day or so and see if it flattens the seal down.

Reading this post it seems I am not alone:

Ah cool, thanks I really appreciate that. It's actually just filmed on my iPhone but I have got a DJI Mobile 3 to make it more stable and smooth. It's a great little device.

    Hey everybody,
I just got my Riv back from the garage and am so excited! A run down of the work carried out:
    Transmission fluid
    Transmission filter
    Oil change
    Oil filter
    Differential oil change
    Electronic ignition upgrade
    All belts changed
    All spark plugs replaced
    Front springs replaced
    Front shock absorbers replaced
    Rear shock absorbers replaced

Rear springs will be done towards end of September (delay on parts.) Her stance is great, even without the rear spring change. The power steering is now fixed thanks to the belt change. She sounds so sweet and smooth. Absolute dream to drive, completely effortless! Video will follow soon :)

great video mate. I remember only to well when I had classic cars in the uk and trying to work on them in the rain , ugh !
be sure to keep the old belts in the trunk for spares so you'll have them if you break one on the road

Thanks mate! Much appreciated. Please subscribe if you want to, I'll be adding more videos soon.
I'm actually having some continuing trouble with the belt squeal, so I have got a tension gauge to check the tension. The workshop has already said they will fit a fatter belt if it is a continuing issue.
