Cover was cleaned, deburred, passages radiused, oil pump cover refaced, new pump gears set up correctly, new rubber crank seal, new oil filter, all threaded holes good or repaired. Ready to bolt on. Not painted as not everyone uses the same color. You will need to match up the correct distributor hold down as there are a couple different styles. This oil pump has .0025" clearance. It is date coded March 1970. $250 with a rebuildable core. Core charge is $75 if yours is not usable or you do not have one. CORE NOTE. I suggest leaving the water pump and oil pump cover on as I have ways to get the bolts off without breaking them. This saves me work. If it turns out the water pump cavity is corroded too much to reuse it will be returned if you request. Not trying to make it difficult, just fair for both of us.
Interested in that cover. Picking up a 68 Skylark Custom (350 4bbl.) this weekend out of state. The seller tried to replace leaky water pump last week and 1 or more bolts broke, I don't have all the details but thinking this cover may be a real good idea for me.
