I don't recall any of the roads names per se... But in Virginia there was one location that the rod crossed county lines and changed names. No problem, you say... However the North bound lane in "County #1" was a different name than the South bound lane, and likewise in "County #2". So, you could technically have one foot on four different named roads at the intersecting county line if your are in the middle of the road, without being at an intersection.

On my way to visit my sons who live outside of Kansas City, Kansas, I travel on I-35 and there’s an exit for “County Road U” that amuses me. I want to get a degree from there every time I see it.

In Reston Va they had a short stretch of road called Temporary Road. Still there 40 years later. Odd.

Been to all three of them when we were staying in Bird-In-Hand, PA! All in the heart of Amish country.

On the morning we were leaving, our GMC Jimmy wouldn't start. The battery was dead. I thought this was strange since the Jimmy was only about a year old. I opened the hood and noticed a crack in the battery and most of the acid had leaked out. We were staying at the Bird-In-Hand Inn and directly behind it, across a small grassy field, was a garage. I walked over there and went in to see if they sold batteries. The place was like a garage and resto shop. There was a '70 GS convertible (I think it was a Stage 1) undergoing a restoration plus a few other cars. The owner hooked me up with a new battery and we talked Buicks for awhile. Nice guy but I have forgotten his name. This would have been in 1999, I think. Any of you PA guys know who this might have been?

I just bought A property in Fancy gap, Va on Lighting ridge road. When I went into my insurance agent to add to to my policy the agent looked at me and said.. You're making that up. that can't be a real place.

But first you need to find a nice Gal from Purity St in Pittsburgh and go down Romance Way in Pittsburgh before you get to Intercourse PA or Paradise, if you miss the 2nd one you might end up in Blue Ball PA. If you want to skip all the steps, just go to Hooker, PA
