Adjusting Sagging Doors

    Respectfully disagree . If and when you replace the pins and bushings, hang with your weight on the end of the door and it will go back into place. The "bending" is minor in the scheme of things and completely reversible without damage.

    Agreed, there's always a bit of play to go back the other way. Now that being said if you keep bending the door back and forth every week for years I'm sure you would fatigue the metal enough that the bolts would actually tear through the metal eventually. But if you're "adjusting " your doors that much using the "bending" method your car has more serious issues and probably should not be on the road :eek::rolleyes:

    My tidbit of advice. Buy a hinge rebuild kit and use a zip cut to cut the old door pin in half and then slide each side out.
