Happy Veteran's Day to all my brothers and sisters here. 21 years Air Force (retired almost 2 years now).
Thank all Veterans for their service... My daughter and my dad at his 94th birthday last May 15th. Went in on Omaha Beach. Mikey
Went out with the family on Friday; saw an older man wearing one of those "Veteran of XXXX" hats; Veteran of WW2, Korea, and Vietnam. He was a spry 92 years old, and got around quite well. As a military retiree myself, I don't USUALLY say ' Thanks for your service," but I was certainly felt obliged to say it to him...
To ALL & EVERYONE who has done their duty for their country WE ALL SO LOVE from another "Nam" vet. Tom T.
Flags are flying , as always both at home and the barn. As the saying goes, " If you can read this thank a teacher and since it is in English, thank a veteran. " To all who have served, past present and future, Much gratitude for your service and sacrifices. Regards, Upstaged in SW Michigan.
Happy Veteran's Day. I saw an older gentlemen wearing his old military uniform today as his family was taking him out for lunch. I thanked him for serving as I walked past him. I have to admit, he looked good in his uniform and it made me wish that I was able to fit back into mine. Semper Fi Marv.

The concert band of which my wife is a member had it's annual Veteran's Day concert yesterday. At the conclusion of the concert, Taps was played by a military veteran who is also a veteran member of the band. He is 92 years old and he nailed it. I work the information booth and noticed a man in a red shirt standing behind me. I turned to look and he was a man that I saw being pushed into the concert in a wheelchair. He had a First Marine Division WW 2 hat on.He was standing at attention. The greatest generation indeed.
Every day you walk this earth as a free man, is Veteran's Day. Honor. Respect. Thanks. Not just today, every day. Dad -Warsaw 1946
