Never had one, never really wanted one, but the word was : CAMARO Don't know why I liked it, only one person that I can recall had one, and I didn't meet him until 11th grade...
TURBO........SUPERCHARGER......BIG BLOCK any of those were for my friends and I. In my circle we always had the tuned out turbos SC's and big block cars ripping around. My buddy shoved a 350 in his camaro gold chevette and put big a$$ tires on the back and thought he was the cat's meow. I had a 89 2.2L turbo Mazda mx6 and that thing flew. My best buddy Jay had an 88 Tbird supercharged oh man I loved driving that thing, he had the tint so dark on the windows you couldn't tell if it was night or day outside until you opened the door lol and ofcourse my buddy's poop brown buick regal we all called it the shitreef because it looked like poop and stunk of reefer everywhere he went cause he burned 24/7.
Big block, headers, glass packs. The later two got me into my corvette, the first finally happened with the Riviera. I can’t point to one thing that pushed me into cars, but “V8” might have as well done it
Cragar deep dish, HiJackers, Hooker Headers, Hush Thrush, Hurst, 4.11 posi, Mach 1, Cobra Jet, Hemi. I didn't know much about Buicks until I was 15 and bought a 66 GS... that changed my world!
ITS GOTTA POSI I remember I was all of 11 or 12, was under the hood of my Dads '75 LeSabre 350, and I saw QUADRAJET, WOW ITS GOTTA 4 BARREL!
ZOOM, Gears, Clutches and Gaskets. Still love the Purple wind breaker with the patch on the back. Doug
