Went to install rear outer window felts on my 71 Skylark. Got the from OPGI. They are not going in correctly. They are gaping at the bend, enough to stick my pinky finger in. Anyone else have trouble? They are the PUI brand that I got. Fronts went in no problem, of course there is no bends.

I believe I ended up just bending them gently. I think I screwed them in and tapped them with a small rubber mallet. This was many years ago.

I purchased a set from a dealer in Dallas and they fit perfectly except I had to rebore a couple mounting holes.

I have to do some bending to get them to fit the corners better. They bend very easy, so I just use some pipe to bend them around, a little trial and error, and a rubber mallet until they look right.

You would be correct. The felt that most vendors sell is from the Chevelle. You will notice it has a slightly different bend than skylark. That is why they dont always fit well
