i frequent that area often. Jim Turner used to have a garage in Bronte Texas. There are a few other Buick guys in the Abilene area as well. I know a few people want me to accept a permanent job there.
Yes, I did, it is down here in New Zealand. I have finally got Ron's old car back on the road and painted in its original colour. I have done quite a bit to the car including, new heater core, replace the aluminium radiator with the re-cored original, sorted out the A/C which ended up being very expensive, new brake booster, master cylinder and rear wheel cylinders, new tires, new gas tank, new exhaust and mufflers, new torque converter, new windshield, new front seat covers and door panels, removed the radiator support and repaired the rust from the battery acid, painted the front inner fenders and radiator surround and top, and a few other bits and pieces. I'm very happy how it turned out, I hope Ron would approve.
Although Ron's car was instantly recognized before, I also think it looks even better in the original color combo. Great Job you did good! GB
