66 Riviera trunk trim

Looking for this trim piece

Do you mean the V-nose chrome trim? Pretty sure I have one with decent chrome

 

Im not sure who doug paine is? How would i reach him?

 

Ya its in a bit of a v shape. Do you have a pic?

 

Main issue with this one is the mounting posts that original had speed nuts to retain are broken off. You can see 3 locations have screws. I've had this problem on others in the past and was able to carefully drill and tap the boss where the post was. $35 plus shipping if you want it.
