Biggest problem with one of these is getting insurance on one. Many carriers will not write a school bus/RV conversion.
....and they are damn cold and nearly impossible to heat in winter. As a kid I spent enough time in one of those things, and it was always cold, and it stunk of stale farts and unwashed little kids. You never wanted to lick the frost on the windows which usually was at least a 1/4 inch thick and had some funky colours to it.
