Far as what they're worth it depends on the color combination, originally, Drive train, sheet metal, execution of restoration.
Just my opinion but the car you are looking at would take an additional $40K + to make it worth $40K. It's not a Stage 1, it's not a 4-speed, and it's not the most desirable resale color. But all that matters is if you like it and want it.
Column shifted auto without original trans and forgot to mention interior and trunk all custom upholstery. I’m going to pass.
Good decision. Keep your eyes open on here, a nice car will come along. And if you find anything outside the forum, there are folks on here that can help you.
X2 Like Brian said great decision, the car is nothing but a can of worms. The dealer will probably Have to whole sale it to get rid of it.
Forgot to mention earlier I talked to Eric today the member that looked at the car in person he says there's also an issue with the frame on the passenger side front. Probably rusted out.
If I liked anything about oil leaks from a engine it was that it helped keep the front part of the frame rust free.
It’s a shame - I looked this over for someone else on the board. Dealership was good to work with. Obviously not what they specialize in. The firewall spot wasn’t like that - I’m guessing someone else who looked at the car picked it open. I found some other spots - pm me if need to know anything.
I already know too much at this point. Dealer very nice but just want to unload it. If this spot on firewall is where the structural strength for brakes system is located it could be tearing. Scary thought. I’m going to pass.
Hi, I was reading this post just curious do all 1970 GS 455 have the engine ID # in those two locations, I thought they moved from drivers side between plugs 1970/to the front of the block in 1971 . Any information would be helpful. Thanks
