I have reduced the price from $15000 to $10.000. I will not go any lower. This price will remain for ten days then I will pull the listing. Don't need the money ( WILL CONSIDER ALL TRADES OF EQUAL VALUE ) just want to get rid of this really nice Pontiac. Recently Inspected...Legal to drive...Runs and drives great...Nice interior...New trunk pans...Nice exhaust and Nice glass all the way around. I will drive the car wherever you are at as long as it is local. I also have a 1964 GTO Hood ( $900. ) and a GTO Automatic Console ( $250. ) I will drive the car wherever you are at as long as it is loca

Unfortunately, there's no way to tell a '64 GTO from a Tempest for sure without PHS documents. This one not having the GTO hood on it is definitely a red flag, but never know.

Yeah, the only way to verify is through the number plates. The GTO would have to have the 389, the Tempest would probably have the smaller engine, a 326 I believe, but not sure. Don't have my book here to confirm.

It's a pretty safe bet that the car is a Tempest but $65 for the PHS docs will get you proof. Still, look down the sides of the car in the first picture. Also a pretty safe bet that the sheet metal weighs more now than it did new.
