Hello and thanks for allowing me to join. I recently bought a 1970 gs455. I have had muscle cars all my adult life, with my most recent being a 69 Camaro. As the wife and I are getting a bit older, it just seemed too small. We were looking at 70 Chevelles when the GS came along. We actually liked it a lot more. Such a unique car that you don't see everywhere. Runs and drives so smooth and we love the cool options: power windows, locks, cruise, and rear window defrost. Our plans are to restore to original with a new Aqua Mist paintjob and pearl interior. As you can tell, I am really excited and such a cool car!! I have been lurking on this forum and such a great group and picking up some really good information.
I saw that for sale and thought it looked like a good deal. There is almost nothing as bad ass as a 1970 GS 455, welcome to the group, the guys here can usually take care of any questions or needs you might have, lots of parts and knowledge around here. Love the color of that car!
Thank you!! The body is pretty solid, the paint is older and could use a fresh paintjob. The interior has seen better days as well. Planning on new door panels, carpet and upholstery. Mainly cosmetics, engine looks pretty clean.
Awesome car and color combination, as you can see in my profile my first car. A 1971 stage 1 4 speed, been hooked on the Buick GS ever since.
Nice car! I'm also a newbie' with just a few days on you. Looking forward to your progress with the project.
