I'm just going to leave this here after I say: I can't believe there is a company out there making this much bolt on crap to fit one of these........... Oh, and dig the painted on "sunroof" with glued on rubber strip around it. And stick on "hood pins".
Really, seriously did not know... But... Here they are... https://www.jcwhitney.com/ Probably not like they used to be, but they are still around. Who knew!?!
Is that dude in the pic laughing at the roof wind splitters? Those really make the car special. And the sunroof...yeah...it's killer. Thanks for posting this Lucas, I needed a good laugh.
In the seventies Dad got a JC Whitney catalog. He bought some carpet for the Roadmaster. And a grill for his ‘35 Ford. The carpet was cheaply made, the wrong shade of blue, wrong material, and didn’t fit. The grill was such a bad fit, that when we tightened the bolts ; the original Ford greyhound hood ornament broke. The supposedly ‘stainless steel’ rusted so quickly and so badly in the first rain, it left rust stains on the driveway. Other than that our overall JC Whitney experience was most satisfactory.
Between the wheels and the 600 pounds of added AutoZone accessory aisle garbage, this person could've probably bought themselves a nicer car. And why do I feel like the car parked next to this "masterpiece" in the pictures is for some reason destined to someday be sitting directly behind it as well...
