It’s a 462 forged internals with a 290-08 cam, roller rockers.....runs like a freight train well into the 12’s just the way you see it.

That’s an unusual question, curiosity as to why you ask? Because that seems slow lol?
I don’t twist it anywhere over 5,000 rpm because in my old age I have gotten more interested in show than go and I just dig sounding super nasty rolling into a gathering at 5 mph!

That and it roasts these repop Goodyear’s and they ain’t cheap!

No No No... well into the 12's just as it sits is being slow:eek:
I see it's a AC optioned GS but the pic's of the engine bay didn't show the passenger side where the compressor is, that all..
I can see the confusion the way worded it though, oops.
At probably $500 for just one re pop I don't blame you, plus cleaning the burnt rubber of the rear quarters isn't fun:D

I get what your saying, I drive it pretty easy and yes all the Air Conditioning is there, this car is as correct as it can be.

I'm really pretty easy on it, don't get me wrong it gets alittle bit of "hang on" time every time it leaves the garage, but I have a Pertronix III on it with a rev limiter set at 5,000 rpm so nothing to its potential. And I've never had it to a strip to brag into the 11's...….lol
