Well, what started out as just fixing a rear end leak end of winter turned into a 10 month amateur partial frame on rattle can restoration...... Can't believe I did most of this myself....Well if it wasn't for the folks in this forum who took the time to help such as SeanBuick, Alec296, BrianTruick, CarHex, Larry the Wizard, Jason Cook and so many others it wouldn't be near as nice. Please remember its a daily driver and although tried to keep mostly original, I know it's not all correct. I like the GS hood look but will always keep the Skylark Custom badging . Originally a North Carolina car, 3 on the tree 350-2 barrel brought up to Buffalo NY area January 2014. Mileage at time of this 95,780. Thanks... I don't recall where I got the tank....sorry. I know some folks said they got a deal on a good fit tank from Rock Auto...
Forgot to add... winter/Spring 2021 new interior. New black '70 style waffle grain interior... new door panels, new rear seat upholstery including new foam, bucket seats redone with new foam and new back plastics (sits an inch taller ) new carpet but ordered wrong carpet ( car is a 4 speed, ordered for a 4 speed with console but don't have console so it's bunched a little around the shifter.) Workmanship is driver quality, has a fee wrinkles as I am just a guy with a shop and some tools and too cheap to pay someone to do it.
