I was fortunate enough to witness a handful of dyno pulls. The engine sounds like it loves 8500+. The whole car/combo are well executed and the 1.10 60ft is most impressive! Especially considering that's on bias ply slicks with no beadlocks.
Thanks for putting this up Gary. I had not seen any action photos after the race. Think I was so dumbfounded that Milan had a pay office! and I was collecting from them! I forgot to run down Dave and see what he had captured.
Won't be at all the Heads up races this year. My daughters JR Racing is still #1 priority. I will PM you my cell so If you are coming get a hold of me Wed. or Thur. and I will save you a pit spot. I will always try and be there for the Thursday T&T.
Just re-found this thread. Wayne, I hope you have a safe, no breakage season, while hauling some serious ass. Tear 'em up Man!
As a update, the car has run 8.06 @ 165 this was backed up at another race. Doing the math for the weight of the car that puts the motor at 1112HP for the track dyno. Motor also made more power after 2ed build that was not reported here.
That's a Badass combo, front to back,to to bottom. It would be nice if Buick made something Camaro-like with some aero advantage. That would be 7s at 170
Hey Wayne!!! You coming to Buick Bash? They have a Buicks vs. The World class you'd be good for. Same goes for you Gary. Heck...you might even be able to run GS-R with us
