.....drinking beer, listening to the radio, doors open, 70 degrees, have the next 4 days off work, and still dusk at 10:30 PM up here in the north. Life is good.....
Was that meant to be a black & white shot or does it just appear that way? I like it. Nothing better than the garage with friends, beer, and good tunes.
You get a guy like that on fathers day 2 1/2 hours of your time and if possible get his kids to sit in for the last hour, and just chat......
Thanks guys ..... well, you'd have to get him some kids for Fathers Day, because he doesn't have any.... that's how he gets to be in the garage until all hours of the night!
love them pinstripes. Put on the agenda.... but agenda is too long and not just car related. Guess thats what happens once you have kids.....
We got an original 1979 Hurst Olds cutlass for my 14-year-old from Mike Sobotka. She and I pulled the radiator out of it. Looking forward to souping it up a little bit and making it super reliable for her to drive as her daily! We will add the nitrous and posi next year. We will pull all the peripherals off Tuesday and start planning for headers and true duals along with a few other things like a FlowKooler water pump. All of the AIR stuff along with EGR and smog system components will be removed
Anything you guys can suggest for us would be great! I heard these 79 cars have a problem with the heads cracking. I wondered about the integrity of the camshaft as I remember that Chevy cams in 1978 all went bad.
Teaching my daughter to do things properly with disassembly and reassembly. She Knows exactly where each bolt came from and where it should go back in after it is detailed and painted properly.
You guys might remember that JennyS took away my daughters 70 big block car, offered it here for some ridiculous amount of money, and then pissed off all of the members. JennyS sold the car and so now me and my better-half are trying to provide my daughter with something cool that she can drive every day. Mike Sobotka has helped us in more ways than you can imagine. Thank you Mike!
