With 6 cylinder and bare bones nature of this rig I'm thinking a one time state or forest service rig?! If originally government would probably be green color; curious to see if repaint evidence in engine bay. Looks pretty straight!

I would have to agree a government rig probably orig with no options
Usually they were light or dark green
I even have had a couple
but I have seen tan ones before
Still a good price if solid with the demand for any chev square body trucks

This was back before SUVs were status symbols. Most K5s of this era were optioned this way. AC and power options are fairly rare. The 6 cylinder and manual trans were commonplace. The buyer was better off with the manual trans which would usually have the 205 transfer case instead of the 203 full time 4wd case that came with the automatic trucks. Fuel mileage was awful with the 203 case.

    In the ‘1970s-1980s
Around here the Forestry Service had several colors, Dark green, light green , tan , brown.
I had a ‘69 Suburban from the Atomic Energy Commission that was light gray.

    condition: good
    cylinders: 8 cylinders
    drive: 4wd
    fuel: gas
    title status: clean
    transmission: automatic

One owner. Less than 15,000 miles on new, 350 motor, 400 automatic transmission and Warn lockouts. All put in at the same time. New radiator. Chrome wheels. Starts right up. Runs, drives and sounds good. It's a climber.
