https://www.stage1restoration.com/product/lug-nuts/ Bought these without reading the fine print. Tried to put them on a full size car. No Go! My cost with shipping was over 100.00. Will ship for 75.00 to any US address. Cannot return to Todd cause I opened ever single one of the little packages they came in. Super nice item. sad I cannot use them!
Briz, did you get the right ones? I think Mitch R. has them. Patrick http://buickcenters.com/riviera.html
I just bought a set of Dorman 1/2 x 20 stainless nuts from the local parts store. Its good enough for this car.
Thanks for the offer but the nuts are on the car and shes setting on the ground. Now contemplating the next project. Needs a new windshield(ordered) and the headliner recovered while the glass is out. needs a full exhaust from the Y pipe back, Has a loud lifter tick that comes n goes on the L side. Last thing on my list is to replace the carpet and recover the seats. Then she'll need to find a new home.
Briz, is what you do is flip cars (taking in cars with needs, get them back to good condition and presentable, then resell them)? If so, that is a pretty interesting profession/hobby!
I run a Air Conditioning business and fix cars on the side. I think of it as more of a Buick rescue. I'll use any extra funds generated to put into my race car or drivers and on the other hand keep one more nice old car on the road. I'm also a bit picky about who buys the cars. Have refused a few buyers that I didnt feel were in the best interest of the car. Heres 2 or 3 of the ones that got re-homed over the last few years. I also like old F150 ford trucks.
I know you didn't ask to send them back and I respect that but in this case I would have let you send them back. We have plenty of cars in the shop that we could use these on. The little wrappers they come wrapped in kind of need to be there to sell to the next customer but as mentioned I could have found a home for them. I respect your decision to not ask but . . . . . I'm pretty fair on stuff like that. Sounds like they found a good home just the same ! .
Todd and Steve are two upstanding folks. One willing to accept back items that most merchants would not, and another guy who would not think to ask or expect a seller to take back something that they had opened. My respect to both of you fellers.
It never crossed my mind to ask for a refund. Now if they were labeled 1/2 x 20 on the web site and were not correct when received, Ya Id request a refund however this was totally my bad. Was happy to help out another Buick Brother.
I wish all customers were as "understanding" as you! I hope I get the chance to help you in the future. . . . .
I dont have much need of stuff for the little cars but ya might have some stuff for the full size boats i could use
