welcome malte in germany they use liters per 100 km instead of miles per gallon/km per liter the volkswagen lupo was named the "3 liter car" because it only used 3 liters of diesel fuel for 100 kilometer thats 78.40 mpg 18 liters/100 km is 5.5 km per liter or 13.07 mpg vw lupo commercial
I bet she turns a lot of heads in Germany! Great looking car!!! Welcome aboard. Thanks for sharing. Dan
On my trip to Europe in 2015, my brother & I rented a VW Up. Very small compared to what I owned at the time(2013 GMC Sierra Z71 4x4). I think the VW Up would fit in the bed. I was pleasantly surprised at how it drove. Had no problem keeping up with traffic. Had just enough room for 2 carry-on bags in the back seat and a full sized suitcase in the back. It wasn't a diesel, but got very good fuel mileage. Very nice 69 GS. Welcome to the forum.
Not one Buick was build in Europe in this time . I have just don't any papers about the import. I have the first car papers from Austria 1969. Back them the car was white. Speedometer is in miles.
