There is a thread on classic olds (I’m a member there also) about the difference/similarity between the Olds and Buick engines. Things kinda got off track and migrated to the Hemi vrs buick shootout. I’m hoping members here can fill in the blanks If I remember correctly the shoutout came about because a magazine published times from the 50 quickest road tests. The 70 stage 1 car was rated higher than the quickest Hemi car, which resulted in some Mopar guy staying “Buick’s run like their tied to trees.” I have the magazine articles somewhere, anyone in readerland able to share a link to the articles? I’m not having any luck. I can find info on the later races, I’m looking for the one that started it all. Thanks!!
I posted 2 magazine articles, Post #67 on page 4, and post #81 on page 5. http://v8buick.com/index.php?thread...owerful-classic-era-muscle-cars.357666/page-4
