I've got a 65 sportwagon that needs a good used engine. Anyone know of any? Thanks, Tony

I have a 67 date code 300 that has 10,000 on the rebuild. $1,200 in Florida. I also have 2 carburated turbo V6 engines that would bolt in. One was in a 33 Ford street rod, has 20,000 on the rebuild also $1,200. The other is status unknown, it turns, needs to be checked out $600. I also have a good rebuildable 300 long block, would need rings, bearings and crank polished, easy rebuild. $400.

I’ve got a complete 300 with a 300 trans just pulled a couple of months ago from my 66 Special(going LSx) motor ran great when pulled and I had a video of it posted on the 66-67 Buick Facebook page. Three or four long-wheel base tens will take every bit of old motor parts I have. I also have a full ac setup, complete power steering system and some other pieces and parts. In Pensacola, Florida.

Tony, I don't want to but in, but if you don't find what you want , I have a original 65 300 that came out of a Skylark and has been rebuilt and never ran. There are pictures of it in the frame in the parts for sale under PROJECT CAR. If you are interested and would like other pictures, let me know.
    Thank you, Les

I have a 67 300 that came out of my 67 Sportwagon when I put a 400 in it and made it a GS400 tribute car. It was running fine when I took it out. You can have it for the price of shipping. Have the Transmission too.

I have a good 300 that came out of my 67 Sportwagon and was running fine, I converted the wagon to a tribute GS400 wagon and put a 67 400 engine and T400 trans in it. You can have the engine for the price of shipping.

Nobody’s heard a thing from the OP. I’ve still got a good running 300/300 combo sitting in the corner of my shop taking up room. Needs to go away!

Sorry guys, I thought I was going to get an email alert whenever someone posted a reply, which I never got. I really appreciate all the responses and I'm going to pm you guys about the engines. Thanks a lot, Tony

Thanks for the compliment, everywhere I go with the wagon folks give me thumbs up, wave, honk, or roll down a window at a stop light and want to talk about it. Car shows generate a lot of comments including "we had a station wagon when I was growing up, we had fun in the third seat!" My response is "it is an early SUV".:)

With the 400 engine and T-400 trans plus a very mild cam it wants to get up and go. All stock except for engine, hood, grill, front disk brakes, also including a new stock interior, rebuilt radio with new dash speaker and rear speaker in factory location. Car is loaded with factory options including power windows, tilt wheel, AM/FM, factory A/C, power bench seat, 3 seats and power rear window, power steering and brakes. I was lucky to find it with a $10K repaint already done out of Nebraska. I added the red stripe, wheels/tires, hood, grille, engine, front disk brakes, new interior, and radio rebuild/speakers.

Its a great fall, winter, spring driver but in the Texas summer heat the black heat gain overpowers the factory A/C so it slumbers in the garage during the day in the summer.:)

Thats awesome! I'd like to eventually have one too! You don't see wagons much anymore. Do you have anymore pics or a build thread here?

Where are you located? I'm in SoCal and have one I just took out of my 65' that is stock with 4 barrel and the two speed trans.
