Not mine. The car looks to be decent and would be a good start to a custom rod or restore. Good project car. Remember fellas it's in CDN $$ so it's already on sale to you 'mericans https://www.kijiji.ca/v-classic-cars/calgary/project-car-give-me-your-best-offer/1540564077
Ouch, typical story in Calgary these days, I've heard of lots of stuff going up for sale because of job loss.
Don't see a 2-door LeSabre often. This may be a dumb question or one that I should already know the answer to, but what was the difference between a 2-door LeSabre & a Wildcat? Would be a pretty neat car to customize. Lousy pics but if vents are set up the same as A-Body looks to be a non-A/C car. IIRC, LeSabres came std. w/350-4 & a 3-sp. manual. Not sure if the HC 350 &/or 455 was optional. Apparently Calgary is getting hit hard although have a friend there (board member) who said he was out last weekend and the stores were surprisingly very busy.
I think it's an auto. If you zoom in on the second pic you can see the knob of the coloum shifter. That being said would it be a 3 on the tree car??.
I know that in ‘67 and ‘68 the Wildcat was longer and that length was the front clip and wheelbase. (The cabin and trunk were the same as leSabre). I think the frame and front metal were both Electra pieces before the trim and holes were stamped. Patrick
Also the bigger engine was never offered in LeSabre in 1964-70. In 69 all you could get was the 350 Buick with either a 2 or 4 barrel, and the 4 barrel cars (marked "400" on the fender) had the Turbohydramatic 400 transmission. Wildcat had a choice of two interior combinations, the base LeSabre one, and the "Custom" Wildcat trim which was a step up. Wildcat also never offered the smaller engine in those days either, always the big one. So a 69 Wildcat Custom was the best of both worlds; big motor, better trim, "small" body and lighter weight than the previous years. Between 1965 and 1968 Wildcat shared Electra's wheelbase.
I think you are off a year. My Dad ordered and bought a 1970 LeSabre 455 from Spitzer Buick in Lorain OH. It was 2 door, gold with brown vinyl top. Had the clear plastic seat cover protecters with the bubbles in them like you'd use for packing material now. I remember being there when they were picking out options on the order form. Sad part is, he traded in a 1967 Chevelle SS396, 4 speed, bench seat. He bought that one new also. I begged him to keep that car until I could drive when I figured out he had the "new car fever". It was about paid for, too. I would have been about 9 years old at that time.
