I'm looking for a 1382615 4bbl 350 intake manifold. It's for a 68 engine I'm putting together. I know there is basically no difference in the years but I would like to keep it all matched. And I realize shipping will probably be more than the intake. Also looking for a core 7048244 Quadra jet that could be rebuilt. Basically the last items I need to finish this. I have a 72 version of the intake/carb worst case scenario. I'm in Cleveland oh and would be willing to take a little drive for someone fairly close that doesn't want to go through shipping that boat anchor.
I should be able to get one off my local junkyard. He NEVER gets rid of ANYTHING... Stuff has been in same position for over 40 years in the back in the trees; over sixty years at his other yard...and his prices are reasonable. Shipping will probably be more!!! https://www.google.com/maps/@34.6560626,-79.5155201,746m/data=!3m1!1e3
I appreciate that Steve. Why don't we see if someone has one laying on a shelf collecting dust first before you go through all that trouble. I'm sure someone upgraded to an sp1 or sp3 and has one sitting around. If I don't hear anything in a week or two maybe we can explore that option. Sure would love to see that place some day while it still exists.
Oh it still exists! I go there regularly. I'm one of the few people that they let go anywhere in their yards for a few reasons: When they were building the garage in the left of the picture, I was able to supply them with the MDF for the ceiling for dirt cheap (I worked at the plant and was able to get seconds or mis-cuts for dirt cheap, which still needed trimming to size anyhow; I would pull parts and help them when possible; referred a lot of customers to them; I respect their property not damaging other stuff to get what I'm after.). They have even locked me inside but tell me where the key is when they'd go on calls for the wreckers. If you ever go to Myrtle Beach SC from Ohio, you drive about ten miles from it...
That sounds excellent and I would love to come visit some day. That kind of yard is the best. I remember a place outside of Charlottesville called "Leons" that was similar. Basically an old farm where the owner had starting parking cars in the '20 or '30's at the back of the property and just kept on parking more and more, apparently ending in the 90's. At the back there were also big trees, so basically a forest with antique cars parked all around. Nothing was ever crushed or even moved with a fork lift... You could only buy what you could lift and carry out.
I've got an intake and carb. Both have an issue. Carb is complete less the divorced choke bracket. Intake is currently on my test stand 350, but its due for an overhaul. Also, the front drivers side coolant hole has been jb welded for a decade because there was a very small crack as if a too large pipe thread plug had been forced in it. If these help you we can work something out.
