Brady has 40 TD tosses this season with a well rounded receiver group to be the first team to represent a home game in the Super Bowl Going off his last game against GB he had 3 TD’S and 3 INT for a low rating of 70% and won so hats off to the Bucs Defense I’m an AFC fan I’m rooting for Chiefs to repeat in Tampa
GB was robbed by officials and the lack of calls...they were my pick after my Steelers collapse. As far as the Super Bowl...this could and should be an epic game.
There are many great players that never get to the big game, let alone win it. Winning is not the standard of greatness in my book. I have watched football my whole life and I have seen many great players. Mahomes is on a different level. my 2c.
I always pull for the underdog unless the underdog is playing my team. The Seahawks are done so I'm for the Bucs but I don't think they can beat the chiefs! Bob H.
These are the words of a true Belichick era Patriots fan... Forget playing with honesty and honor. Cheat as much as possible
Not a big sports fan. I lived in the Tampa Bay area for years and would sometimes go to a game at both the new and the old stadiums. Went more for the tailgate parties with friends. Will tell ya one thing Id not be within 20 miles of that place in the days leading up to the game. If ya do wanna go, leave a day or 2 before and camp in the parking lot. Dale Mabry St and I-275 will be a huge cluster F--k.
Al Davis???? He use to pay bonuses to his players if they hurt or maimed a opposing player. Deflated gate really, the Pats score more points when the balls were so called pumped to the proper pressure. Stolen calls, they all do to a extent. The media loves to take down winners for a story. Ok the Tuck rule was wrong but the Pats lost to the Raiders in 1976 over a awful call too. Being in MA I can see why others hate the Pats but you go to 10 superbowls for a reason.
Tough call Whether to travel or not !! Always happy for the local shop owners and all small business owners with a big event held in their town but I’m not sure if they want to see it and I’m not sure if I want to go see it
No, it’s not a huge leap. If his career ended today: he would be the only QB in NFL history to win a Super Bowl, an MVP, and go to another SB in his first 3 years as a starter. He’s never lost an NFL game that he started and finished by more than 8 points. If winning is your only metric, he’s already better than Dan Marino, and on par with Brees, Rodgers, etc. Tom Brady is the greatest QB of all time. Patrick Mahomes is among the greatest, in the shortest amount of career games, and will continue to grow as a player.
Was difficult, but refused to watch any NFL this year. As far as Brady being the GOAT, from a records perspective, mostly played under rules which pamper QB'S then, yes. But had he played under the conditions/rules of days gone by, odds are he would be watching this years SB from an owners box. I promise you that if Brady was faced with the Chiefs defense of old full of guys like Bell, Lanier, Buchanan and Culp with the prospect of getting drilled between the shoulder blades with the crown of a helmet or taking a forearm across the throat, Brady and a whole host of other QB'S mindset towards the game would change post haste.
The next time that I will attend a major sporting or entertainment event will be about 10 days after I have the second shot of Covid-19 vaccine in my arm and about 80% of all other Americans will say the same. If I watch the Super Bowl it will be on TV. I probably won't watch it though. I will be watching the Daytona 500 (on TV) in February. I'm a car guy. I get a kick out of downhill skiing (is there uphill?), Aside from that, if it doesn't involve horsepower, I'm not all that interested.
I will watch and/or attend again when the venue stops being used to make statements NOT related to a sporting event! Gotta love hockey!!
Dan Marino is one of the greatest QB's of all time and he never won a Super Bowl. Being a Steelers fan.. ugh.. what a mess that team is. Anyway, I will be rooting for the lesser of 2 evils and hoping KC will win. Would rather see Lev Bell get a ring than AB and Brady.
I'm a Lions fan, and I should be embarrassed by that, but after 30 some years of undeserved loyalty you just get used to the fact that you'll have to root for a team other than yours in the Super Bowl.... Go Chiefs!
