Looking for a very nice pair For a '70 straight bench. Not sure if they're different for split bench &/or for '71-2. Will be @ Nationals.
I do have a pair of them in very excellent condition, unfortunately not black, they are saddle, but very easy to paint. And also I'm not coming to the Nationals.I have been flying to the Nationals for the last 10 years, don't like to be on the road for 14 to 16 hours and this year the beasts that control the airlines decided that 30 million $ a year is not enough for them.My son in law just left for Florida for 3.4 days round trip is $299,00.For Tennessie they want $900.00.Go figure. So both I and the Wizard are not coming in.Bruno.
Have several sets for bench seats, Green for sure and have to dig out the others. Bruno, I will keep yours in mind if no one else has any. Let's see what else is out there for now.
@Bruno & @collector - Thanks Guys - I have a nice blue pair if '70 & '72 are the same? Thought about dying (painting) them but would rather have black pair if someone had them.
I have a very nice black set from a 69 bench seat. I'm not sure if they're the same as 70 and up. Just putting them out there. P.m. me if youre interested.
$163 each way from Baltimore to Louisville (nonstop) on Southwest - Just checked. Take Amtrak or drive down & come to BG. Was somewhat more from LaGuardia but not $900. I guess SWA doesn't fly out of Islip anymore.
In re- reading this, there are two threads looking for headrests, mine looking for bucket headrests and this one looking for bench headrests. I misunderstood...and I am thinking that 69 and 70-72 would be the same for these bench headrests. When I get home over the weekend I will look and see exactly what I have.
Thanks John & Still a maybe here George - I have a pair of '72 (blue) here from a straight bench and '70 (white) from a split bench. I'm assuming straight & split bench take the same & can compare & upload pics - Nothing '69 to compare to.
I have a black bench seat pair $60 for the pair John I think I talked to you about a bucket seat pair that I plan to bring to the nats for you to look at
@Buickcub @gsgeorge3 @2dtrak & @collector: So I checked the ones I have ('70 & '71 split bench & '72 straight bench) and all appear the same and appear to be the same as the '69 @gsgeorge3 posted. I thought '70 used chrome latches. I have 2 '70 split bench seats - One the latches are missing (of course) & the other (Freemont built) has colored (white) latches. My '71 & 2 both have colored latches. Regardless (I would like it to be correct & my car is Flint built) I'd need latches as well & if they're supposed to be chrome, George has them. I'd also like to get the nicest pair although w/new seat covers they may still need to be re-dyed.
