Hi, can somebody please help me with the correct paint code for 70' Fire red. so the shop in the UK can mix up a small amount. Thank you.
https://www.automotivetouchup.com/touch-up-paint/buick/1970/all-models/ Yes, Fire Red for 1970 is code 75, cross reference as 3975 and or WA 3975. Just a double reference...
"If I remember correctly" isn't really helping a lot. Paint isn't cheap, so it's better to be sure. Mike, check this thread: 1970 Fire Red in Dupont Chroma Premier
We went with sherwin Williams straight off the paint code. Looks bright but will tone down with the trim etc. white top and black interior for now as legendary is quite a ways out on white replacement . Will change over this winter
Fresh out of the trailer and into shop. Still waiting on front clip and will get final cut n polish once assembled.
Thanks. Trying to have assembled and ready for the bca heartland regionals in September. I hope I’m not hi-jacking this thread. Just showing what we came up with off of the paint code from our local supplier.
Here is a shot of the freshly painted cowl next to a 70 factory oem painted lower grill filler piece. Looks pretty close to me
