Not sure if this has been linked before. May have some rust issues in trunk and under vinyl top. https://www.ebay.com/itm/1970-Buick...2349624.m46890.l49286&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0
I like it & that color combo has really grown on me - Friend had a '70 455 in this combo back in the 80's & I wasn't crazy about it. Price is a little high IMHO ($20k?) and the lurking rust & repaired hood are of concern (I'd be surprised if there's not a little filler in the rear quarters) but seems like an honest car that hasn't been messed with which you don't see too often anymore - Something like what you'd have found in the Sunday paper back in the '80's. Wheels appear to have been changed & in this case w/that color combo I think I'd prefer the orig. Super Sport wheels & w/14" Firestone Wide Ovals instead of WW's but I like stuff that's different too so... Only other thing I'd probably change would be to add gauges/tach. Interesting @BUQUICK that it appears to have a 1-hole radiator cover being an 06A Flint car.
Very good catch - Suprised (ashamed, lol) I didn't notice as it's become a pet peeve. He did say both fenders were repaired (one from rust & one from accident).
Price was lowered yesterday and it was marked sold today. I hope the buyer took a look at it before buying.
Yeah . One of those middle of the road cars. Looks ok from pics but might need a complete restoration so would be an expensive project car.
looks like a respectable driver to me. i must be getting old. because i really like the white walls over the rallys.
