Personally, I tried to figure out why my exterior lights (all of them) go out when I shift into drive, and the cotter pin that holds the the 2 pieces of shift linkage together gets so hot that it glows red like a cherry lol. This will take a few. Anyways, never mind that, what did YOU do to your Buick today?
Unfortunately, all I got done is a glance and snapped a pic for you. Reminds me that it's time for an antifreeze change. Michigan is getting colder by the day. Devon
First I called up O'Reilly's and ordered a new brake master cylinder. I drove 170 miles home from the car show in central Florida with just front brakes. Yikes!!! As we left my buddy's house yesterday morning my wife said, "The brake light is on!" I told her the brakes were just fine and I didn't know why the light was on. Liar! Then I moved my car from the right side of the driveway to in front of the garage. Tomorrow I get to change the master cylinder. I hate that job!!!
Pondered on these two issues I discovered over the weekend. maybe that’s how the cars come but I’m kind of thinking of welding and blending that area. I want to find a finished car to look at before I “fix” this area After three paint jobs (+original), this weird little door edge hasn’t ever been filled? It will be this time.
I had a set of those sent to me by a board member about 15 years ago. And I am eternally grateful. I sent many parts out no charge many years ago, when V8B was in its infancy. I wish I could remember all the members who helped me out back in 2004-2008. Time has gotten away from me
Nothing better than coaching my son in Little League football and carpooling his friends home with the top down on a cool October night.....not so long ago
Getting parts organized and ready to sell over winter… 20+ big car rallye’s, now onto boxes of NOS parts mostly from the 80s-90s. Not worth much, but the space created will be of significant value.
I took the master cylinder off of the car this morning. I thought they needed it for a core. Not! I bought the new, not remanufactured master cylinder. I was sure hoping it was made someplace else besides China. Not! Then I came home and did some gardening. I want to prolong the agony of brake fluid all over my hands.
