If they don't, Steve Caruso, @ Caruso Performance may have reconditioned GM covers for sale. http://www.carusoperformance.com/
Spoke to Tim at TA tonight. Super nice guy, and tried to help. Bottom line though, they are out of stock for the foreseeable future. I should coulda a couple of years ago.
Thank you, I will reach out to him. Funny thing, they are in Clarkston, MI. I used to live there 44 years ago!
If all else fails and you have to have one, ATP makes one, https://www.rockauto.com/en/catalog/buick,1970,gs,5.7l+350cid+v8,1379684,engine,timing+cover,5737 https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo.php?pk=292257&cc=1379684&pt=5737&jsn=456 https://www.rockauto.com/en/catalog/buick,1970,gs,5.7l+350cid+v8,1379684,engine,timing+tab,13970 https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo.php?pk=292263&cc=1379684&pt=13970&jsn=456
Thank you sir. Have you heard about any issues with them? My engine is stock, just a tiny block and head resurfacing when it was overhauled back in 2007. Just to clean them up, not for warpage issues.
I really haven't. I'm sure it is probably a Chinese copy. My biggest concern would be the machining. It might be fine. I would have a machinist check it over. Maybe some useful information in this thread, https://www.v8buick.com/index.php?threads/would-you-reuse-this-timing-cover.329118/#post-2758026
