One of my Daughters bought this Car, and drive it. Newer seen one so near before. I like it more and more. Goran
My buddy has a bunch of Hudsons in his garage. His dad collected them, passed away, so my buddy inherited them. He recently sold a 1952 like your daughters car but with a convertible top. He still has a 1954 Hudson hornet with the dual 2 barrel six cylinder engine, and he has a couple 1920s cars with wooden spoke wheels. I’ll try to get some pictures this afternoon and stick them on your thread.
My Uncle Harold (RIP) has a 1953 Hudson Hollywood, it was rated #2 of known existing models. The #1 was a museum piece that had like zero miles! Since he passed, my Cousin has taken care of it. It did have the dual carb engine with a automatic transmission!
So sorry a bunch of my buddies cars are covered up and very hard to get to. He asked where you guys were from, then I looked you up, holy mackerel, Sweden. That’s a long ways away!
Some pictures from my buddies garage. The middle picture is of his dad and his 52 Hudson convertible. I don’t know if the picture was about the Hudson or him being a World War II vet. Either way, pretty dang awesome!
That's a pretty cool garage! Does he drive any of them? Love the old pictures! So fun to have. Thanks for sharing this!
My buddies car finally made it down from the lift, so I took a couple more pictures for you all. He actually got it running last night with a little help from my son.
Chriskack… You asked if my buddy drives any of them. He will be driving the black 54 really soon. His problem is that he has so many projects going on that he can’t get the cars out from where they are. Crazy old man!
I went to a vehicle meet-up in Thousand Oaks, CA, recently and there were 4 Hudsons there. If I can make it on the 15th of this month, I'll get some pics. A couple of them were pretty rough, but one ( 4-door) was in really nice shape. Ugly for my taste, but really cool, all the same.
Good morning SteeveeDee, Yes, I agree. Some of them don't have good styling. The 54 in the pic, I got to drive it to a car show. Whoa! Those old bias ply tires want to follow every groove in the road!!! The smell inside... Smells like my dad's old 53 Roadmaster.
