Well, since a German Shepard jumped its fence and attacked my leashed dogs (long story) on our acreage I decided to push hog a trail deeper into the woods. Beautiful day & the dogglings enjoyed new sniffing area They insisted on inspecting the remnants of my 72 Stage 1 “roller” (1 of 5 in Sand Piper) that’s been languishing here since it was vandalized back in 2000 (yet another long story). I was going to make a kid a hood deal on it since I am too screwed up to save it but phone broke a year ago losing his contact info and he has never called back so it may become my main attraction on my new trail heh heh. Anyone got a load of junk to trade me for my 70 “GSX” don’t be afraid to PM me. P.S. Anyone know what kind of tracks those are on top of my frame. Found a lot of carcasses lately so suspecting more coyotes (lil big for raccoon?). Anyhow that’s about it from here, time to go tromp around some more but thought someone might enjoy seeing a 1 of 728 sitting in the North Carolina woods.
Hey Dano my friend, sounds good to me buddy,I have several options as the doors and fenders and most of the interior were removed when it was vandalized. Car has its original 3:42 in it as well as disc brakes (original 14” 1972 chrome rally wheels). . I have a hood too but not sure if I want to let that go (wasn’t original to car). You’ve got my number : ) Appreciate it duuuuude
Dawgz, sayz it’s been a loooooooong day (well….Rosie at least.Simons tank iz still on full!). I’m with Rosie plus I have treats for Sir Simon!
And for u judgy guyz please notice I spared NO EXPENSE on window TREATMENTS! (Thank u god O duct tape!) So glad my wife has NEVER set foot in this beast! I got ALL $300 dollars of delivered, dry storage PLUS hangin out spot for the Dawgz
Looks like a baby Yeti track to me. As mentioned earlier that frame does look nice, are those 350 frame mounts?
Thats not my .45 just a lil .22LR but those little bullets bounce around and can be devastating (we lost 2 Charlotte officers to same caliber missed in a frisk years ago, shot through the units seat).
I am as told they had a big block Chevy in it (another reason I HAD to try and save it 23 years ago). So probably 454 BBC if I had to guess (blasphemy !).
You must have watched Red Green and his duct tape. And how can you say anything about a guy who drinks good ol Rolling Rock beer, man does that bring back memories. Love those dogs look at em gimmmie gimmie lol I saw that show on TV they pulled the frame out of woods and made something out of it. one day it will be attached.
It will test ya but it can be done,Mike. It’s rough, but I have seen some of your nice cars so I am sure you have the resources to save a Stage this rare. Sorry I missed your call Dano, was laying down & I mute my phone. Really excited for someone to save this car
