I don't see any indication of documentation or even a trim tag pic. Lots wrong for that $ too. https://classiccars.com/listings/view/1544991/1971-buick-gsx-for-sale-in-greeneville-tennessee-37743 Article by @442w30: https://journal.classiccars.com/2023/10/30/pick-of-the-day-1971-buick-gsx/
It has 70 seat covers and 70 hood inserts. They also painted over the front chrome edge of the hood chrome and headlight bezels. The mirrors look like the ones we used to buy in the parts stores in the mid-late 70’s……the list goes on and on. Anyone see a pic of the id plate on the firewall? Duane PS, There’s nothing wrong with emptying off the shelf’s to get a car done.
I wonder if it's this car - Nationals late 80's (next to the Ramada). Same configuration and the owner at the time (this was when '71 grilles were non-existent) painted the grille & maybe the hood grilles black in between events. I know the car was there at least 2 years. Cortez Gold 350/auto may also have been the most "common" '71 GSX configuration. I could've bought a really rotted orig. paint one (saddle interior) up near Buffalo in the early '90s for $2500. Talked to the PO a couple years ago & car is out there somewhere.
