Nifty car, but the seller has sniped me out of a bunch of stuff over the years. I won't bid on it. Dan
Why don't the block #'s match the last six of the VIN he has listed? Or is that not the VIN after the ST 69 44637FL1 259351BDY ?? Block # 49H311561...It looks like he has listed the trim tag info and mixed it with the VIN ? David R
I've bought from this seller and before we start, he is a good guy, knows his Buicks, and I would tend to believe if he says its numbers match, it is, ofcourse always verify. Also is a board member here ,PDXMike is his handle I believe. Bill
I have purchased many things from Mike over the years since we live close by each other, and he is a stand up guy all around. If he says it is what it is, then it is what it is. I can't see him sniping anybody out of anything, I am not sure there has been once instance where someone has a had a problem with him.....
David, if your getting that info off of the body tag, that is the sequence (?) number, NOT the last 6 of the VIN. The last 6 digits of the VIN will NOT match the body sequence number on the data plate/ body tag. HTH
No ill will intended, I was asking this for my own clarification, I do believe that its numbers matching. And in the sellers knowledge of the cars..its my knowledge that needs help!:TU: Thanks, George that's what i was asking...in the wrong way.ou: David R
on my slowest day you'd need to drink that rocket fuel to keep up, you young pup. Respect you elders :Smarty: or you'll never see your correct shade of SCO grey :Brow:
Uh, stand up guy or not, I am certain he has sniped somebody out of something. Now, he may not intentionally snipe someone he knows, granted, but everybody who bids on E-bay does at one time or another. Sniping isn't a black mark against anybody's character -- it' just how those stooges at E-bay set things up. -- Steve
I talked to Mike (nice guy) and he also said the car came with a white top, which would be very cool indeed, car has the larger build sheet. David R
What exactly do you consider sniping anyhow? If you consider sniping the same thing as outbidding the other party, then consider me guilty time and again.
The common theme on eBay is if you're going to bid on something, plan on being Sniped. I bid when I find an item I am interested in for the total amount right from the get-go. The only thing (recently) I rebid on was the 4 speed boot retaining rings... And I still got sniped. Oh well o No: Chris- Fireglow with white top/ pearl interior (insert drool smilely)...
